More Indiana communities are receiving federal money to help boost their fire departments. Grants totaling more than $800,000 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Assistance to Firefighters Grant program have been announced. The money is being spread among four communities including the Flora Volunteer Fire Department, Flora, $189,050, for Vehicle Acquisition.
