The Tipton County Council is expected to consider a $13 million incentive tonight that could help sell the former Getrag Transmission plant to a solar panel manufacturer. Initial approval to create a bond to lower the cost of the plant was given by council members last month. The plant has been empty since 2008 when a joint venture between Chrysler and Getrag fell apart.
