#i Work
#i Work assists young adults ages 16-24 to find a career pathway. #i Work is a two-week/20 hours per week training program with a total of 40 hours of classroom instruction. Participants earn $10 per hour while attending training.
The #i Work workshop training covers career planning, interviewing, developing a resume, time management, creating an elevator speech, job search techniques, workforce ethics, job keeping skills and professionalism.
After completing the two-week workshop training, participants will have an opportunity to work one-on-one with job development staff. The job developer arranges a paid intership with an employer. The paid internship may pay between $10/hour to $15/hour in a career field you choose.
